First off, I would like to start with many of the Whyville Cheat sites that seem to be rapidly spreading across the internet.  Many Whyville citizens use these sites to simply raise their salary by doing nothing.  Yeah, maybe the sites help you get a high enough salary to become a Y-mail helper within a couple of days, but ther are people out there who became Y-mail helpers by themselves.  What people do not realize, is that you don't need these sites to get a high salary.  If you simply read over the directions carefully, you can easily complete all the games.  I understand some of the games on Whyville may be a bit tricky, but hey!  That's the fun of it, right?  In the end it feels good that you have an honest salary rather than one you just 'used' from someone else.  I almost thought about using the cheats once when I was just begining on Whyville, but then when I thought about it, I asked myself, "If I was taking a test and had access to a paper with all the answers on it, would I actually CHEAT?"  In the end, my answer would most definatly have to be a positive NO WAY!

 

 

Next, I would like to address the issue of scammers and hackers.  Yes, there are cheat sites to raise your salary, but there are also sites saying, "Just enter your username & password in this box and in about 2-3 hours you will receive 500,000,000 clams, 5 scions, and a salary of 200 clams!"  As glamorous as it sounds, it's not true.  Do not believe ANY site that asks for your password, they will most definatly hack your account. 

 

 

Trust me, earning your own clams, scions, and an honest salary will make you feel much better at the end of the day.  I know that most people will read this then not ever think twice about what I am trying to get across, and there will be that small amount that will.  I would like to say thanks again to those that are with me in what I am saying.
